Delighted to share that I will be working as a summer research intern, under the supervision of Dr Ryan MacDonald and Dr Isabel Bravo, at UCL’s Institute of Ophthalmology. I will be involved in characterising the cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating glial morphogenesis, with a particular focus on the consequences of disrupted glial contacts on neuronal function, during retinal development, using the Zebrafish as a model organism.
