Münter-Haus in Murnau, a small town in the southern region of Bavaria. It’s the house in which Gabriele Münter and Wassily Kandinsky resided from 1909 until 1914. Here some of the most important works of the expressionist group 'Der Blaue Reiter' (Blue Rider) were created. Münter returned in 1931 again to Murnau and lived in this wonderful house until her death in 1962. Worth a visit, with the stunning garden overlooking Murnau and the Alps. Having been here, I was definitely able to grasps Münter’s incredible colour palette. #Murnau #muenter #muenterhaus #münter #gabrielemünter #wassilykandinsky #kandinsky #blauerreiter #germanexpressionism #garden #bavaria
