The best #talent doesn’t come from #job ads. It comes from #connections. Every year, I have the chance to visit Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen and exchange ideas with students. This time, we turned it around. We welcomed Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen and Philipps-Universität Marburg at Heraeus #IT in #Hanau. 24 #students, two universities, one day packed with insights: from #sustainability and IT #strategy to a real look behind the scenes of our operations. But what made the day valuable wasn’t the agenda. It was the conversations. Hearing how students approach industry challenges. Seeing how they question things we sometimes take for granted. And discussing where #technology, business and reality actually meet. Strong #partnerships between universities and companies are not a “nice to have”. They are essential! Because this is where expectations meet reality and where #curiosity meets experience. And where future talent decides what kind of environment they want to be part of. For us, it’s simple: If we want to attract the next generation, we need to show up early, be open and be real. #Thank you to everyone involved for making this happen.
