Become brilliant at your basics....and...think Finance different

The topic? Data Literacy: How might we take data as a strategic advantage to create impact and value beyond Finance? This topic deeply resonates with me. Why? Whether we want it or not, we live in a data-driven world. We strive for automation, and we assume an Agentic Organization is the path to Industry 4.0. No matter the perspective, the ability to read, understand, create, and communicate data as information is more important than ever. That is precisely why I wanted to bring it to the stage and challenge the audience to think bigger. Did I succeed? I don't know. ๐คทโโ๏ธ Even though I only speak about topics that genuinely resonate with my work, meaning I know the subject well, I felt more nervous beforehand than usual. Why is that? Was it a lack of routine? Insufficient preparation? Is it because so much is in motion right now? Or because I simply expect the most from myself? I channeled that energy and tried to inject it into the presentation. Ultimately, success requires many elements coming together: a vision, a structure, and the discipline to stick to the Game Plan and many many more. My 3 Learnings from Three Intense Days: 1) Self-Confirmation: When I actively participate in a conference by giving a talk, joining a panel, debating with thought leaders, or serving as a jury memberโI always learn the most. 2) Energy Investment: Pushing change and driving it continuously takes a lot of energy. 3) Escaping the Treadmill: It is energy well invested to leave your own hamster wheel. Now, it's time to reflect, gather, sort, and reset the focus to contribute meaningful value and grow together. Beforehand, thanks to many great people. I really enjoyed our conversation and dicussions. ๐ ๐ค _______ What is the one thing you already know you should be doing, but haven't started yet? #DataLiteracy #GrowthMindset #Transformation Irina Gaspar-Huthoff Violetta Eggert Dennis Mallon Jana Kaul Ritzel Caitlin Xiao Liu Elias Dorner Emily L.
