Recently, I shared a piece on High Performance with Heart and why performance and humanity are not opposites. Your thoughtful feedback meant a lot to me and inspired me to dig a bit deeper... So far, I can tell that over the years I’ve learned to trust my gut feeling in leadership. But I’ve also learned that my gut has good days and others where it should probably ask for a second opinion. At the same time, I’ve seen how data can bring stability to decisions, without taking away what makes them human. This article is a personal reflection on leadership, intuition, and why sustainable high performance is built beyond either / or.
