In June 2019 I defended my capstone project at UO and since then I have wanted to put together a video presentation with audio of the project to share my research with anyone interested in Sports Product Design. So here it is!!! https://lnkd.in/gfpqdDS (Duration 15 min) In my project FUTUSUMA I focused on the consumers of the future and how climate change will transform the demands to product and how the skills of today’s “Super Humans”, will be necessary skills for survival in the "extreme future". Who would have thought only a few months ago that another world disaster would arise before sea levels rising! The methods of designing functional product is a valid tool we should use in the future, to create equipment that empowers people - for recreational activity as well as crises.
