This piece by the AFR’s Hannah Wootton is simply unbelievable. It reads like a script from a far-fetched Hollywood film. How can the leadership of this firm have got it all so wrong? Clearly the desire to maintain profits and jobs has totally blinded them. Not only did they dismiss the claims by the whistleblower and sweep them under the carpet, they also continued to lie to all their internal and external stakeholders. This must rank as one of the most damaging reputational disasters in recent corporate history. And there is still more to come. Well done to Hannah Wootton and Edmund Tadros for leading the excellent reporting in the AFR.
