I went quiet on LinkedIn last week. Not because I was changing jobs (!) but because I was on holiday - actually on holiday. Phone down. Email off. Somewhere in a Norwegian fjord where the only notifications were waterfalls and birds. And it reminded me of something we've all quietly forgotten: our best thinking doesn't happen in back-to-back meetings. It happens in the space we no longer let ourselves have. I wrote a few honest thoughts about it - about "unlimited" vacation that no one takes, about how AI has made it easier than ever to never truly switch off, and about why the most human posts are still the ones that land.
