We recently held our Global Financial Services Regulatory Summit at Microsoft's brand new Executive Briefing Centre in Seattle. Over two days, leaders from the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa came together to discuss the future of regulatory oversight, operational resilience, Responsible AI and Quantum Computing. Key highlights included: 🔹 A keynote from Sibel Ozcan of the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in Basel. 🔹 A regulatory panel with representatives from a range of jurisdictions offering diverse perspectives on global supervisory priorities. 🔹 Microsoft sessions led by senior executives , deep diving into Quantum Computing, Azure Resilience, the Secure Future Initiative (SFI) and managing the risks of GenAI. 🔹 The Financial Conduct Authority sharing their five-year ICT strategy, highlighting the role of AI in supervision, their AI digital sandbox, and a new partnership with Nvidia. The feedback received underscored the impact: “We have a high bar for Microsoft and it sets the standard for the industry.” “I am always amazed at how humble, open and transparent Microsoft comes across plus I always thoroughly enjoy travelling for these events.” We are grateful for the energy, collaboration, and insights exchanged and we look forward to building on this momentum as we continue working closely with the global regulatory and customer community. #RegulatoryCompliance #MicrosoftCloud #OperationalResilience #AI #QuantumComputing #FinancialServices #DORA #ThirdPartyRisk #ResponsibleAI #SecureFutureInitiative #QualityExcellenceInitiative #UKCTP #FrontierFirms William Borden Steve Rosenboro David Collier Dave Dadoun Tom Deprins Sean Foley Antony Cook Vijayalaxmi A.
