May 29th wasn't just another training day. It was the first time our colleagues from across the Chow Tai Fook Group family trained together as CTF volunteers. Across commercial businesses and charity arms — Chow Tai Fook Enterprises (CTFE), Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, CTF Services Limited, New World Development Company Limited, CTF Education Group, Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, and Jing Yuan Charity Foundation — over 100 colleagues set aside their usual roles and gathered with a shared purpose. We were honoured to have Mr. Peter Cheng, Chairman of Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation & Project Management Committee Chairman of Jing Yuan Charity Foundation, join us. His message resonated deeply: "Volunteering is not a distant blueprint. It begins with simple, everyday acts — keeping a kind heart and offering warmth, even to strangers. I encourage everyone to experience this for themselves, for once you begin, you will discover the profound joy and meaning that service brings." The three-hour session focused on building a common foundation for community engagement. Through group discussions, role-play, and facilitated dialogue, participants strengthened active listening and compassionate communication for serving elderly and youth users. A dedicated networking hour followed, transforming unfamiliar faces into trusted collaborators. When different sectors learn side by side, a shared language of care emerges. Coming together as one Group, as colleagues, as neighbours — this is only the beginning of our collective volunteer journey.   #CTFGroupVolunteers #PhilanthropySynergy #CommunityImpact #VolunteerExcellence #CrossAffiliateCollaboration 5月29日不只是一場普通的培訓活動 — 來自周大福集團旗下多間公司的同事首次以集團義工身份一同學習。 參與的團隊涵蓋各業務及慈善組織，包括：周大福企業、周大福珠寶集團、周大福創建、新世界發展、周大福教育集團、周大福慈善基金，以及淨緣慈善基金。超過100位同事暫時放下日常工作，為了同一個目標齊齊聚首。   當日我們很榮幸邀請到周大福慈善基金主席及淨緣慈善基金項目管理委員會主席鄭家成先生親臨支持。他的分享令人深刻難忘：「義工工作其實好簡單。大家可以由日常生活嘅小事做起 — 保持一顆善心，將温暖傳遞俾身邊嘅人，以至素未謀面嘅陌生人。我希望每位同事都可以身體力行，體驗服務他人所帶來嘅喜悅同意義。」   三小時培訓的重點為參加者建立一個共同的義工服務基礎。大家透過分組討論、角色扮演及引導式對談，從中學習主動聆聽和如何以同理心溝通，從而更有信心服務長者同青少年。緊接的一小時交流環節，更成功拉近各同事們的距離，加強彼此的信任。   不同背景的同事聚首一堂學習，自然就會生出一種互相關懷的默契。這份默契，讓我們真正以集團的力量，凝聚同事的熱誠，以鄰里的身份，攜手服務社群。   #周大福集團義工隊 #公益協同 #同創社區影響力 #卓越義工 #協同效應
