Today, we celebrate Chief Batton's 39th work anniversary with the Choctaw Nation. On June 26, 1987, Chief Batton began his career with the Choctaw Nation in the Purchasing Department. What started as a new opportunity grew into nearly four decades of dedicated service, leadership and commitment to the Chahta people. Throughout his journey, Chief Batton has remained devoted to strengthening the Choctaw Nation, creating opportunities for tribal members and honoring the traditions and values of our ancestors.
