Promoting Mental Health Care

Many times I listen people saying about the inferiority complex they get scrolling through linkdIn... Yesterday one of my friend said— "yaar everyone is doing so good yaar, everybody is achieving the goals they deserve! But see what the hell my life is...I'm not even on first step towards the goals...how will I do everything...world is running so fast and I'm so slow maybe... maybe I'm not that good naa?!..." That time I realised that this is the thing I also used to felt at times... this feeling is so real and we need to understand it. We rarely talk about the hidden side of LinkedIn... Every day, our feed is filled with promotions, funding announcements, awards, certifications, conference photos, and "I'm excited to share..." posts. And while it's genuinely great to celebrate others' success, there's another emotion that quietly creeps in for many of us: "Am I falling behind?" The truth is, LinkedIn is a highlight reel. We see someone's promotion, but not the years of rejection that came before it. We see a startup's funding, but not the sleepless nights and failed pitches. We see certifications, but not the self-doubt that accompanied the learning journey. The constant exposure to milestones can unintentionally create a sense of inferiority— even among highly capable professionals. Comparison is natural... But comparison without context is dangerous. Your career isn't late because someone else got there first. Your growth isn't invalid because it looks different. And your worth isn't measured by how often you have something "post-worthy." Sometimes the biggest achievements don't make it to LinkedIn: - Becoming more resilient. - Learning from failure. - Showing up consistently. - Being kind in a competitive world. - Choosing a path that's right for you, not just impressive to others. Celebrate others wholeheartedly... but don't use their timeline as a yardstick for your own !! The race isn't against your peers... It's against the person you were yesterday ! #LinkedIn #CareerGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #MentalHealth #PersonalGrowth #Success #Leadership
