Earlier this spring, Chiquita, Fresh Express, and Planet Harvest launched the "Fresh Communities Tour" in South Florida. 🌴💛 Connecting farmers to local families, the initiative comes to life through curated food boxes filled with fresh fruits and vegetables, Fresh Express salad kits, and Chiquita bananas, along with pantry staples that help families create balanced, nourishing meals at home. What began in South Florida is already expanding across communities, from Miami and Fort Lauderdale to Salinas, California, reaching more than 30,000 people through the distribution of over 10,000 fresh food boxes. This collective effort was made possible with support from 30+ local organizations and nearly 100 volunteers. 🎥 Check out how it all began at United Way Broward, and see the impact in action.
