The man who went viral and set the tone for Lawrence, Kansas, and our relationship with team Algeria this World Cup. Tommee and his wife Patty are local celebrities and recognizable advocates. Especially Tommee’s heartfelt answer to an Algerian camera crew’s interview on the day of the team’s arrival did so much for this state and probably the nation. He recognizes me whenever we meet, and he and his wife are just as sweet as they appear. This isn’t a professional post per se.
