Connecting Continents and Cultures: Discovering Panama at Chiba University The final lecture in this year’s “Introduction to Latin American and Caribbean Countries with Lectures from Diplomats” series took place on May 28, featuring H.E. Mrs. Zaradeeth Del Real, Chargée d´affaires a. i. of the Republic of Panama to Japan. As the third and concluding session of the series organized in collaboration with the Japan Association for Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (JAPOLAC), the lecture introduced students to Panama’s climate, history, and traditional attire, gaining insights into aspects of daily life and cultural identity.  The lively Q&A session reflected strong interest in the country and provided an opportunity for further discussion beyond the lecture itself.
