Circularity has become a clear direction for the packaging industry. The focus now is on how to make it work in practice. At Thermoforms Conference 2026 in Valencia, organised by PETCORE EUROPE, industry experts came together to discuss the future of thermoformed packaging. Key topics included PET tray recycling and the evolving Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) framework. Together with partners, recyclers, and converters, we explored the technical and operational requirements that support recycling efficiency and material performance.
