Challenging the status quo in hospitality & experience design.

Green supercomputer "made in Hessen": A data center that is especially energy and cost efficient ‒ this is the result of IT research at @goetheunifrankfurt and at GSI/FAIR. By 2030, 13 percent of global power consumption could be caused by data centers. The waste heat from individual large data centers could already be used to heat up to 10,000 households today. An answer to this global challenge comes from Hesse from the Goethe University and the GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung. They have recently been granted a European #patent for the overall concept of an energy-efficient cooling structure for large data centers. #universeinthelab #GreenIT #BigData #datacenter #datascience #digitaltransformation #data #computing #infrastructure #informationtechnology #computerscience #futureofwork #enablinginnovation #engineering #goetheuni #greeneconomy #IT #research #supercomputer #Hessen #Frankfurt #Darmstadt Photos: G.
