“This will be the biggest L&D initiative we’ve seen, in the last 10+ years”.. Those were the words of Chris Perriton back in March 2025, when he told me I’d be taking the lead on this HUGE transformational project. Fast forward to this week, we’ve just rolled out an entire new career pathway journey for our managed estate. Introducing, DNA 🧬 This is more than just a career path, it’s a clear and structured way for our people to progress from day one. Encouraging curiosity and development and strengthening the future of our pubs with internal talent. This has been a business wide initiative, with support from nearly every department in our Pub Support Centre, and whilst there’s too many people to thank in one post, the proof is in the data. Our teams already began their development journeys, just hours after we hit go live. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
