Rolling Stock Lead for Alstom Performance System (APSYS)
Last night I had the privilege of attending the British LGBT Awards as part of Alstom UK. It was a truly star‑studded evening, brilliantly hosted by Ruby Wax, with highlights including Boy George taking home not one, but two awards. We were incredibly proud to be shortlisted for the Inclusive Company award alongside Audeliss, British Airways, Just Eat, Mundipharma International, Nationwide, Sky UK, Skyscanner, Thames Water and Virgin Media O2. We didn’t take home the award, but being recognised at this level is an achievement in itself — and a testament to the people behind it. Huge thanks to Pippa Armstrong, Imogen Lambert, Joseph T. and Benjamin Goodwin, whose passion and drive helped us be nominated and to achieve Trailblazer status with Stonewall - a reflection of genuine leadership in inclusion. Being a Stonewall Trailblazer is about more than having the right policies — it’s about consistently turning intent into action. It means creating an environment where people feel safe, supported and able to thrive, and where inclusion is embedded in how we work every day. For me, inclusiveness is about creating a workplace where everyone can come to work as their authentic self. I truly hope that’s what we are continuing to build here at Alstom UK — and moments like last night show we're moving in the right direction 🌈🚆. #BritishLGBTAwards #Inclusion #DiversityAndInclusion #LGBTQ #Pride #Belonging #Alstom #BeYourself #InclusiveWorkplace #Pride #LGBTQInRail #RailForAll #InclusiveRail #ProudToBeMe #RailPride #BelongingInRail
