I was just trying to get popcorn… Standing in the queue at London Tech Week, the guy behind me was also eyeing up whether more was coming. We're both just waiting, excited for popcorn like two kids. Worker shows up. Popcorn secured. Then this guy casually drops that he's a founder. Not just any founder. Tayfun Keskin spent 10 years at Uber, didn't like what he saw, and decided to build something better. Ride Nuff doesn't take commission from drivers. They pay £20 a week. That's it. Better pay, better working conditions, built by someone who watched the industry from the inside and knew it could be fairer. He asked about me too. I told him I'm a cybersecurity student. We connected on LinkedIn. Took a picture together. All because we both wanted popcorn. London Tech Week has given me so much. Talks, startups, insights. But this might be the one I remember most. You never know who's standing behind you in the queue. #LondonTechWeek #RideNuff #Networking #StartupToWatch #TechCareers #YouNeverKnow
