Term has started, and that means we got to head off to one of my favourite places for the UCL CBER MSc BGC and MRes BEC field course. UCL has been taking staff and students to Blakeney Point in Norfolk for over 100 years! And although the environment has changed a lot in that time, the facilities have not! We still stay in the original lifeboat station. And although there's no hot water or even a cold shower it really is an incredible place to spend time. As part of the first week of their course, we teach students about data collection and sampling design while they get to know their new class mates in this beautiful, if rustic, setting. As always, it was a pleasure spending time with Rachel Hester Iona Cunningham-Eurich Tim Newbold Tim Blackburn
