🧡 Children told us how much they want to belong. For World Down Syndrome Day, Charles Sturt University's Children’s Voices Centre shared research at the United Nations, drawing directly on what young children have communicated about loneliness, inclusion and belonging. Led by Children’s Voices Centre Associate Director Dr Kathy Cologon, alongside Tim Cologon, this project amplified what young children have shared about their lived experiences, the forum ensuring their voices help inform discussions about inclusion around the world. The message is clear: children’s voices matter. TEQSA PRV12018 (Australian University) CRICOS 00005F.
