CDU Alumni, Dr Isabella Garti and Mary Linell have been featured in NT News for their efforts to make a meaningful impact in the Northern Territory. Dr Isabella Garti is a midwifery academic and health researcher. In 2025 she won the CDU International Alumni Award – Special Commendation for her work in maternal health. Isabella is committed to ensuring her research transforms into tangible improvements in maternal care. Mary Linnell is the founder and Managing Director of Easy Glass Services, an entrepreneur and single mum to four children. She studied business at CDU and in 2025 was awarded the CDU Alumni Awards for Industry Excellence – Special Commendation. Mary has also been listened in Australia’s top 100 women in construction, NT News’ 100 most powerful women and 2015 Telstra NT Business Women of the Year.
