Izumi Uchiha — handmade crochet doll ✨ This project tested my patience more than I expected. What looked simple in my head became one of the most challenging pieces I’ve worked on — especially the face and hair placement. I reworked multiple parts, removed the hair completely at one point, and almost gave up. But this piece reminded me of something important: Creative work rarely looks good in the middle. There’s always an uncomfortable stage where everything feels wrong, unfinished, and far from the vision in your head. The real challenge is pushing through that phase instead of quitting. This doll was built completely by hand using crochet techniques, thread work, facial detailing, and hair styling. More than the final result, I’m proud of the persistence this project demanded. Every piece teaches me something new: • patience • problem-solving • resilience • trusting the process Progress isn’t always pretty—but it’s still progress. #crochet #amigurumi #handmade #fiberart #creativeprocess #smallbusiness #art #craftsmanship
