✈️ The aviation industry is changing and so is the infrastructure behind it. From 12 to 14 May, the Chane team will be at the IATA Aviation Energy Forum, joining conversations that are shaping the future of global fuel supply chains. On 13 May from 15:20 to 16:00, our CCO Grischa Sauerberg will join a panel on “From refining to receiving: Understanding the case for terminal conversion.” Together with fellow panelists Simon Weiss, Kevin Kruger CAIA, and Dan Abbink GAICD, the discussion will explore how shifting fuel flows and growing SAF demand are reshaping infrastructure needs. As markets shift from refining led to import driven supply, and as SAF scales, infrastructure needs to evolve from static storage to something far more dynamic. Terminals are no longer just receiving points. They are becoming critical enablers of flexibility, resilience, and lower carbon pathways. Our Petrochemicals Industrial Distillation unit in Rotterdam is one example, with the capability to process HVO streams into HEFA-SPK SAF. At Chane, we believe the future of aviation depends not only on new fuels, but on the infrastructure that makes them work safely, reliably, and at scale. 👍 Meet the Chane team during the conference: Grischa Sauerberg Sergio Nuñez Kyle Ferriggi Bram Van Roermund Johannes Doucet We look forward to connecting and continuing the conversation with you! #IATA #AviationEnergyForum #EnergyInfrastructure #Logistics #SupplyChain #FuelSupply #Storage
