CHANEL's Métiers d’art hub, le19M, will travel from Paris to Shanghai, to launch its cultural project 𝘭𝘢 Galerie 𝘥𝘶 19M SHANGHAI. From 25ᵗʰ September to 15ᵗʰ November 2026, the project will be open to public at the Museum of Art Pudong in Shanghai through a variety of formats, including thematic exhibitions, talks, and interactive workshops and activities. 𝘭𝘢 Galerie 𝘥𝘶 19M SHANGHAI centres on the creative dialogue between the unique French Maisons d’art resident at 𝘭𝘦19M and Chinese craftsmanship as well as contemporary creation from China and France.  The highlights of 𝘭𝘢 Galerie 𝘥𝘶 19M SHANGHAI include: The group exhibition, "𝘈 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘤𝘩", developed by four creative voices: GONG Yan, LIN Tianmiao, ZHANG Lei and Christelle KOCHER. It brings together the Maisons d’art of 𝘭𝘦19M alongside Chinese and French artists, artisans and designers, exploring the relationship between technique, material and the legacy of craftsmanship. In addition, "𝘓𝘦𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦. 100 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯" celebrates the 100ᵗʰ anniversary of the embroidery and weaving House, unveiling its most impressive creations.
