What a special evening celebrating Welsh sport. 🏅 It was an honour to attend the Team Wales Send-Off Celebration last night and witness the latest inductions into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame. Hearing the stories of athletes who have represented Wales with such pride was incredibly inspiring. Equally inspiring was meeting the next generation of young athletes preparing to represent Team Wales at the Youth Games. Their passion, commitment and ambition are a reminder that success starts long before anyone stands on a podium. 👏 One theme came through again and again throughout the evening: community. Wales has always been known for pulling together, and last night was a wonderful example of businesses, supporters and sporting organisations coming together to back our athletes and invest in the future of Welsh sport. Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Parkgate Hotel (The Celtic Collection) to celebrate such a special evening and, in doing so, help support the future of Welsh sport. A huge congratulations to Rebecca Edwards- Symmons for creating such a warm, welcoming and genuinely inspiring event. Bringing together the business community to support the next generation of Commonwealth athletes is something we can all be proud of. 💚 Best of luck to everyone representing Team Wales. We'll all be cheering you on.
