It was such a pleasure for Chambers Wales SESWM to attend member's Cardiff City FC Community Foundation's Impact Celebration event, which marked the publication of its 2024/2025 Impact Report. The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the Foundation’s work over the past year and the role it continues to play in creating safe, inclusive environments where children, young people and families across South Wales can thrive. Over the previous reporting period, the Foundation generated £33.4 million in social value. The Foundation’s most recently reported impact data demonstrates the scale and effectiveness of its work. Impact outcomes were particularly strong across health, wellbeing and community cohesion, with 86% of participants reporting improvements in mental, emotional or physical wellbeing, and 90% reporting a stronger sense of belonging within their community. The event also highlighted the importance of strong partnerships in achieving this impact. We heard how collaborations with organisations including the University of South Wales and the Premier League Foundation are supporting delivery at scale, strengthening pathways into education, employability and personal development.
