Travelling from Nanchang to Shanghai by train for a Queen Mary University of London alumni event. The distance is 450 miles and will take 2 hours 47mins. As someone who travels up and down the west-coast rail line in the UK every week, travelling 200 miles on trains that take over 2 hours, which rarely run on time (if at all) and you are lucky if you get a seat, this makes a refreshing change.
