📢 Research careers are Europe’s strategic advantage in science and technology. As negotiations advance on the next Horizon Europe, CESAER and partners call on European leaders to preserve the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) as Europe’s proven programme for research careers. For universities of science and technology, this matters directly. Europe’s capacity to generate new knowledge, lead in advanced technologies and strengthen its innovation ecosystems depends on the researchers building careers across all scientific domains. In this statement, we call on European leaders to recognise MSCA as a cornerstone of Europe’s competitiveness by keeping it bottom-up, research-driven and open to all fields , and by scaling its impact in FP10. The message is clear: do not change Europe’s proven MSCA model. Scale it and multiply its impact. Swipe through the statement below.
