We at CES are proud to be part of a major milestone for sustainable vocational education in Ghana. The President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, has officially broken ground for the new Centre of Excellence for Green Technologies at the Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) — a project for which we are responsible for the architectural design and the upcoming construction supervision. With EUR 5 million in funding from the German Government under the Ghana–Germany Development Cooperation, and a partner contribution of more than 10%, this project will establish a state-of-the-art training and workshop infrastructure to equip young people with practical skills in renewable energy, climate-friendly technologies, electrical engineering, and more.
