Discussions addressed future opportunities and challenges facing Chilean and global aquaculture, including very encouraging signals from the new Chilean government. โก๏ธ Teams from Cermaq Chile and Cermaq Group joined an inspiring forum that truly invited us to look beyond the horizon. โก๏ธ Discussions focused on key topics shaping future regulation and growth, such as innovation and applied science, environmental sustainability, the role of communities, and the importance of continuing to strengthen trust and collaboration between industry, academia and affected stakeholders. โก๏ธ Panelists shared experiences, lessons learned, and reflections that encouraged us to think about how we move forward in Chile, but also globally โ with stronger cooperation across stakeholder groups, increased transparency, and a clear focus on long-term solutions. ๐ Blue Horizons reinforced the value of collaborative spaces like this, where open dialogue and diverse perspectives become real drivers of change. We leave with fresh ideas, valuable insights, and a shared conviction: new horizons are built on continued cooperation and dialogue in the salmon farming industry โ where #GSI is the key global key enabler.
