When Kevin moved from the Philippines to Melbourne, he was looking for connection. He found it at CERES. What began as volunteering at Joe's Market Garden became friendships, new skills, meaningful work and a sense of belonging. Stories like Kevin's are a reminder that places like CERES are about more than gardens, education programs or community events. They are places where people find connection, purpose and ways to contribute to something larger than themselves. At a time when loneliness and disconnection are growing challenges, these places matter.
