We are pleased to announce that Ms. Priya J Singh, who has been serving as Assistant Chief Human Resources Officer, will now assume the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Since joining the University in December 2019, Ms. Priya has contributed significantly to strengthening HR functions across the employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee engagement. Her close engagement with faculty and staff, along with her deep understanding of institutional processes, has enhanced the effectiveness of HR within the University. She brings over 17 years of professional experience and has recently completed the Executive Programme in Emerging Chief Human Resources Officers from IIM Indore, where she further developed her capabilities in strategic HR leadership and organisational transformation. She holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from ICFAI University. In her new role, Ms. Singh will focus on advancing HR digital transformation, strengthening talent acquisition, enhancing performance management systems, and strengthening CEPT’s culture of a liberal, considerate and humane organisation focused on continual pursuit of excellence through empowerment, engagement and efforts of each individual in the organisation. On behalf of CEPT University, we want to thank our current CHRO, Mr. S D Mehta for his contributions over the last 9 years and extend our best wishes to Ms. Priya for a successful tenure commencing July 2026.
