On 3rd June CEPI and the #PhilippinesEmbassy to Norway co-hosted an ASEAN roundtable, bringing together ASEAN Ambassadors to Norway to advance dialogue on epidemic and pandemic preparedness. Discussions highlighted the importance of sustained political commitment, stronger regional cooperation, and a holistic approach to preparedness—spanning vaccine R&D, manufacturing, regulatory systems, and equitable access. Participants underscored strong interest in deeper collaboration with CEPI, including around the 100 Days Mission and the use of innovation and AI to accelerate response. The roundtable reinforced ASEAN’s growing role as a key partner in strengthening global health security. This was the 3rd ASEAN roundtable to have been convened in 2025-2026.
