Could your institution potentially help support a Phase 1 clinical trial for Bundibugyo ebolavirus vaccine candidates in Africa? CEPI is inviting clinical research institutions across Africa to respond to a new Request for Information. The aim is to better understand which sites can support Phase I clinical trials for epidemic vaccine candidates, in line with ICH-GCP standards, for the possibility to conduct phase I clinical trials of Bundibugyo virus vaccine candidates. This will help connect trial sites with vaccine developers and support faster study start-up when it matters most. Building this early-stage trial capacity is an important step towards making sure research can begin quickly during outbreaks, and that critical data can be generated without delay.
