What does it take to keep society functioning during a large-scale crisis? CWI is contributing to VORTEX, a new research project led by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam that has received €541,000 in funding from TKI DINALOG. The project investigates how emergency support points and coordination points can help the Netherlands become more resilient during prolonged disruptions. These points could support citizens with basic services and help align civil and military logistics when systems such as energy, communication or transport are under pressure.
