Congratulations to Lynda Hardman, who received the IPN Distinguished Service Award 2026 during the plenary opening of ICT Open on 15 April 🎉 . Lynda was recognized for her long-standing commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the Dutch and European computer science community. According to IPN ICT Research Platform Netherlands, she has been “a transformative force” within the network, helping to put structural attention for EDI on the agenda and encouraging more women to pursue careers in computer science. 'It is encouraging to see that the culture within IPN members has really changed in the last decade", Lynda says.
