Robots are moving out of the lab, and into everyday life. 🤖 This was the focus of two sessions on robotics and embodied AI at the World Economic Forum’s 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian, China, where CWI Director-General Vanessa Evers contributed as moderator and speaker. The meeting, also known as Summer Davos, brought together more than 1,700 leaders from over 90 countries, including voices from business, government, science and fast-growing technology companies, to discuss how innovation can be scaled into wider economic and societal value. Evers moderated “Unlocking the Next Frontier of Embodied AI”, a session on how robotics is moving from research and pilots to real-world deployment, and what is needed to scale the field responsibly. She also joined “When Robots Learn Us”, a discussion on what robots need to learn before they can become useful in everyday environments. What does that mean for safety, human behaviour and the changing relationship between people and machines? #AMNC26 #robotics #AI
