Today, a few words about the simulation capabilities of Dragonfly 3D World 🧠🔬 One of the more interesting applications is permeability analysis of porous materials. It’s a demanding process — both time-consuming and memory-intensive 💻⏳ — but it delivers highly valuable insights. As part of the flow simulation, we use porosity analysis tools (PuMA), determine velocity vectors along the Z axis 📈, and obtain graphical representations of vector fields. This allows us to clearly see how permeability is distributed and where the highest and lowest flow velocities occur 🌊 This helps us better understand the behavior of the structure and its transport properties.
