Please join us in welcoming Bernardo Carpio, MD, to the Centrum Health team. Dr. Carpio is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with more than 15 years of experience delivering comprehensive primary care to diverse patient populations of all ages. His expertise spans preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and value-based care, with a strong commitment to improving clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. He has extensive experience diagnosing and managing chronic conditions, from diabetes and hypertension to cardiovascular disease. Dr. Carpio is dedicated to developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and fostering coordinated, high-quality care through a team-based approach. Dr. Carpio earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and completed his Family Medicine Residency in Corpus Christi. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and is bilingual in English and Spanish. We are proud to welcome Dr. Carpio to our North McColl Clinic in McAllen, where he will continue to support the health and well-being of the community through compassionate, patient-centered care.
