A professional training for internal halal quality auditors was recently held at Mlinar – pekarska industrija d.o.o. Osijek, bringing together employees responsible for monitoring and maintaining the halal quality system in production. The training was led by Mirsad Arnautalic, PhD, who shared practical knowledge on halal and haram principles in food production, raw-material control, production process monitoring, and the role of internal auditors in ensuring consistency within the halal quality system. Continuous professional development remains essential for maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and process reliability, especially in complex bakery production environments with a wide product assortment.
