What an incredible experience in New York City, a place where cultures, ideas, and ambitions come together. Throughout the North American Summit 2026, we had the opportunity to engage with leading organizations, including Mastercard, BNP Paribas, Westfield World Trade Center, CMA CGM, Consulate General of Belgium in New York, and the United Nations Permanent Mission of Portugal to the United States. From corporate visits to interactive sessions, and a skill seminar led by CMA CGM every moment reflected the dynamism of a global city and the importance of collaboration across industries, sectors, and borders. Beyond the visits, one of the highlights was the alumni panel featuring ten CEMS alumni now living in New York City, coming from diverse industries and backgrounds. Their insights on building careers in the United States, navigating challenges, and embracing a global mindset were both inspiring and practical. The conversations reinforced the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and staying true to a global perspective while shaping different career paths. Across the summit, we deepened our understanding of sustainability, innovation, and global cooperation, while reflecting on our role as future leaders in organizations, governments, and society. We closed the summit with a get together that strengthened the bonds and friendships built over these days, turning shared experiences into lasting connections and a network for life.
