Yesterday, the CeMM community came together to support the professional development of our PhD students by leveraging the diverse scientific expertise across our institute. The afternoon featured poster sessions, pitches, and keynote talks covering topics ranging from protein-protein interfaces and leukemia biology to cell immunotherapy. Beyond the high-quality science, there was space for thoughtful discussions, constructive feedback, and meaningful exchange across all career stages. CeMM PIs and postdocs shared their expertise with our PhD students, helping to create a supportive and engaging experience. The day concluded with our summer grill party, and a creative painting activity inspired by the theme "Labyrinth", a reminder that the path through a PhD is rarely straightforward, but all the more meaningful when navigated together. Thank you to our postdoc representatives, Dunja Alexandra Al-Nuaimi, Tina Becirovic, Ph.D., Julia Eder, PhD, and Gabriel Onea, for organizing such an insightful event, and to our PhD students and everyone who participated and contributed to making this CeMM PhD Day so special. We look forward to many more opportunities to learn from one another, celebrate each other's achievements, and strengthen our community! šø Take a look at the photo gallery by Klaus Pichler: https://bit.ly/4vadpbc #CeMM #PhDLife #ScientificCommunity #CareerDevelopment #ScienceIsOurMedicine
