Medical Doctor | Co-Founder @heal

Everyone posts after they get into EWOR. We’re posting before. In exactly 24 hours, Ulaş and I have an interview with Daniel W. Dippold. So we figured we'd share the heal story from day one with you and Daniel. Maybe even before that. Quick intro to the two of us: Ulaş Mısırlıoğlu Once the youngest Go player in Turkey, math olympiad bronze medallist. Has been building things since he was a kid. Now building heal. Cem Araz Medical doctor who chose the founder path to change more lives. Obsessed with longevity, owns every wearable on the market, has been tracking his own biomarkers since childhood. Now CEO of heal. The heal story started in TUM.ai E-Lab, one of the best places in Munich to actually build something.  Right people. Right place. Imperfect timing. (But the perfect time is always now, so we started anyway.) I was still finishing med school, and dropping out was never on the table.  In healthcare, medical knowledge and credibility compound. Ulas was working at BMW and studying at the same time, so heal only got our part-time selves.  A red flag, we know. Even then, we built the lab infrastructure ourselves, validated the idea with our first B2C customers (42 test packages sold, 100+ active users), and landed a partnership with a Munich football club who promptly went bankrupt on us. Then May 15th happened.  I became a doctor. Ulas quit BMW.  Time to actually go all in.  Because becoming Europe's #1 preventive health system was never going to be easy. Since then: → Pivoted to B2B: less saturated, measurable CAC, real retention  → Grew from 1 lab location in Munich to 23+ across Germany  → Closed 2 B2B pilots with Munich startups  → Pitched at Life Summit, Germany's biggest longevity event  → Won the EuroTech Federation x Hong Kong Talent Engage Hackathon pitching to Hong Kong investors in September  → Invited to HLTH Europe in Amsterdam next week  → Welcome 3 working students on board through a project study To-dos for Q3: • Become EWOR fellows • Close 5 companies with 100+ employees • Grow the team, the heal family For you guys, here is the link to be part of our journey: www.heal.health For you Daniel: More on the call. See you tomorrow.
