Yesterday we stepped into the Year of the Fire Horse. I'm a Fire Dragon - so apparently 2026 is fire on fire. The past months I've been shedding skin. That was necessary. Divorce doesn't just change your life - it restructures you. It sharpens your standards. It forces clarity. It makes you very aware of where your energy goes. And I've realised something simple: Energy is capital. And I allocate it differently now. ‣ At the bank, this year is about delivering on our new strategy. Capital allocation is not an abstract concept - it is the steering wheel. Where we deploy capital determines what grows, what improves, and what creates sustainable return. Moving from design to execution is where things become real. That's where I'm fully engaged. ‣ With Cello Wealth, I feel a similar shift. I'm not just teaching about money - I'm building something that should have existed a long time ago. Financial strategy for women is not a niche. It's a necessity that has been quiet for far too long. I work with intelligent, capable women who were never properly taught how money truly works - how to think about capital, risk, investing, long-term ownership. That gap is not small. And closing it matters. ‣ And then there's the most important part of my life - my two teenagers. Watching them grow through difficult years and changing circumstances has been humbling. These are formative years. They are shaping themselves while the ground beneath them is shifting. It's not always easy - for them or for me. But whatever happens, they are my greatest priority. I love them beyond words. And I am deeply proud of the young people they are becoming. 2025 built resilience. 2026 is execution. Less noise. More building.
