Today marks a truly special moment for all of us. Celestyal Discovery has departed Athens on her first sailing since returning from the Arabian Gulf, officially marking the restart of our operations and the beginning of our 2026 Mediterranean summer season.   There is no better way to begin than with our three-night Iconic Greek Islands itinerary - a true celebration of everything that makes this region so special, from its culture and cuisine to its iconic ports and warm hospitality.   This moment would not have been possible without the exceptional leadership of Captain Nikos Vasileiou and his crew. Under his command, Celestyal Discovery became the first cruise vessel to depart the Arabian Gulf, executing a carefully coordinated voyage plan developed in close collaboration with regional authorities and maritime security teams. His leadership helped establish a safe and proven route for others to follow.   Today, as she sails once again from our homeport of Athens, we couldn’t be prouder or more excited for the season ahead.   A heartfelt thank you to our crew, partners and guests for their continued support. We’re back doing what we do best – delivering authentic, port-rich Mediterranean experiences with our signature premium casual service.
