Just two years ago, Katie Buchholz was living her dream as a professional dancer in Los Angeles. Then, a devastating car crash changed everything. Katie arrived at Cedars-Sinai with life-threatening injuries and faced months of surgeries, rehabilitation and recovery. Through it all, she embraced a simple mantra: "little by little." Today, she has returned to teaching dance and continues celebrating every milestone along her recovery journey. Recently, Katie shared her story at Cedars-Sinai's first-ever Trauma Survivors Reunion, where she reunited with members of the care team who helped save her life and spoke about the survivor experience.
