O-CEI, CEI-Sphere, COP-PILOT and the Eclipse Foundation are hosting the Code the Continuum Hackathon in Cagliari from 30 June ā 1 July. The event will bring together students, developers, researchers and innovators to work on practical challenges across the Cloud-Edge-IoT continuum. CeADAR Ireland is one of 58 project partners across 20 countries working on the O-CEI project. As a Horizon Europe Innovation Action, O-CEI aims to create an open Cloud-Edge-IoT (CEI) platform centred on interoperability, security, and reliability, making it easier for different sectors to collaborate and share data in real time. This enables faster, more accurate predictions in energy flexibility, helping industries become more adaptive to shifting energy demands. CeADAR leads the AI and data task for the O-CEI Platform, coordinating partner contributions in federated learning and monitoring. CeADAR is also bringing tools to the O-CEI marketplace for serving AI models and forecasting energy and resources across the Cloud-Edge-IoT continuum. Together, these contributions help make the platform's AI capabilities robust, interoperable, and deployable across the continuum, supporting a wide range of sectors. š University of Cagliari š 30 June ā 1 July 2026 Ā ā Register by 23 June, 17:00 CEST Find out more and register: https://lnkd.in/eVtQcc9n O-CEI Horizon
