Celebrating the Success of Industry Academia Conclave 2026 at IIT Bhubaneswar! On 14th March 2026, the Career Development Cell, IIT Bhubaneswar, successfully hosted the Industry Academia Conclave 2026, bringing together distinguished leaders from industry and academia for a day of insightful discussions and meaningful collaboration. The session was inaugurated by Mr. Bibhu Mishra from Hindalco Industries Limited (Aditya Birla Group) as the Chief Guest, along with Dr. Kartik Kumar from Saint-Gobain as the Guest of Honour. They highlighted the importance of strengthening industry–academia partnerships to drive innovation, foster practical problem-solving skills, and prepare students to meet the dynamic demands of the evolving technological landscape. The conclave witnessed the participation of eminent representatives from leading organizations including iVP Semiconductor, Wheels India, AMD, Kirby Building Systems, Texas Instruments, Fuji Silvertech, Microchip, and Uno Minda, who shared valuable insights and perspectives from their respective domains. The event also featured an engaging session by Consulate General of Japan, Mr. Ishikawa Yoshihisa, followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion with representatives from Adani Total Private Limited and Kongsberg Gruppen, focusing on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the industry. We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Akshay K (Convenor) and Rabi Kumar Patnaik (Co-Convenor), along with the CDC team members and the dedicated student volunteers led by Mr. Punith, for their efforts in making the conclave a resounding success. The enthusiastic participation of students and industry leaders further contributed to the overall success of the conclave. We look forward to organizing more such initiatives that strengthen the bridge between academia and industry, fostering innovation, collaboration, and opportunities for the future.
